there is no sim dialer which can work with SIP calling
yet. Because that will need internet access by Wifi,3G or GPRS
But our sim dialers can work like your second scenario. Sim dialers can auto dial Access number,auto send user account and
PIN.
for most phones,SIM dialer V400 will hide access
number and PIN code when dialing,users won't hear a dial tone.for some few
phone models, all sim dialers cannot hide access number and PIN and cannot
make silent dialing, because of those GSM Phones' technical limitation.

Answer: Yes, we can customize as the follows:
The BB10 has 5 access numbers,If the first access number is busy,the user
can hang up, then redial, the sim dialer can dial the second access number.
If the second access number is busy, the user can hang up,dail again, and the
sim BB10 would dail the 3rd access number. pls note that the user must hangup and redail.

BB10s and punch received today. Thank you very mich for fast
shipping!!! Dialer works properly. I had initial difficulties to get it to
work because of prefix substitution. Instead of substitute + with 00 (my
concideration) one has to substitute + with +00. Perhaps you could take this
into the instructions. For next software release it would be great if they
could programme more than only 1 callthrough number per country: perhaps in
place of the second callback number.
Let me know in any case when you
have new dialers: I will buy again ;)

Hole Puncher for the BB10 sim dialer:
Use the hole puncher to punch
a square hole in your sim card, place the BB10 sim dialer so that the hole on
the sim card is lined up with the square IC chip on the sim dialer, and press
firmly to lock in the BB10 sim dialer. Place the sim card with BB10 sim dialer
back in the sim slot.

Quetion: Every time a number starts with a +, the dialer converts it into
a # (e.g. in "removal prefix"). Even if I dial directly, it dials
#49… instead of +49 and the call doesn't go through at all. Also, in bypass I am
lacking space, I cannot add enough numbers. Is there a solution?
Answer: Hello Artur, please place 0 or 00 in 'catch prefix' and the dialer won't dial #. Bypass filed allows for 30 characters. Sometimes the prefixes that users are trying to enter is simplified by the following entry: *0*1*2*3*4*5*6*7*8*9

Answer: The BB09, V700 and V500LG has the auto pick up LCR feature which means Low Cost Routing. Whthis means, you can set up 2 access numbers, and set up different dial rules for the each access number. After that, the dialer will automatically pick up a Least Cost Routing according to your dialing rules. Here is the scenario:
Let's say your long distance numbers starting with 0xxxx and International
long distance calls start with 00xxx
Suppose you want to let National
numbers 0xxxx to go through access 1 and 00xxxx numbers to go through access 2. Then you can set the dialer in this way:
Set 2 access numbers: set dial
plan-> Catch PRX for acc 1 = 0 Set dial plan-> Catch PRX for Acc 2 =
00
Then ok. Dialer will select acc 1 when you dial 0xxxx and it will

BB09 can be set in this way:
Set dialer ON Advance-> MODE = ICB1 Number1= 15055915015 Number2= 15053671583 Number3= #3#6475915007 Dial set(filter)-> Allow=# (# stands for all numbers) Limit=911 (enter 911 or 611 or some other digits here)
Please note that Access number 3 = #3#5055915007 (the #3# is to fix MODE 3 to this callthrough access number.When users change to service 3, the callthrough access number is working in default and MODE will be changed to ICC1 automatically )
After setting, Service 1 will be working in default.
Users can manually change to service 2 or Service 3.
The BB09 will route all numbers to the callback, callthrough system.

In that example it says: "- The Menu must be like the BB09, i.e. User accessible is On/Off only. The complete config is in a password protected area."
In the BB09 manual the On/Off required the login password, it wasn't user accessible. Does that mean the menu can be changed, or is the picture in the manual not correct? I don't see why the User can't turn off the dialer without needing the password that can change all the configs.( That is correct, the complete config is in a password protected area. That is why service providers like this menu which is in the BB09 and V500LG)
Ideally I would like the User to have access to On/Off and be able to select which access number 1 or 2 to call. Is it possible to change the menu for the BB09 or would that require a new version like BB10?(we would recommend the Y09 or V500GSM for this feature since they have unlock feature. We can change the BB09 menu, but would require a custom order of 1,000pcs or more)
The BB09 manual mentions a "SIM dialer configuration toolkit" to program the dialers. Is that available and what is the price? (This is only available for orders of 1,000pcs or more and the cost is $300 for the toolkit)
You mentioned before "however for outside branding the minimum is 1,000pcs" so is there a choice of names for inside branding then? (Yes inside branding is available for 100pcs where Telstra will appear on the screen for most phones.

For the Y09 the name Rogers appeared on the front display of the cell phone, even when Fido was being used. Was the name fixed as Rogers or was it detecting Fido using Rogers network? (Rogers was not fixed by us),
Under the cell applications the name IPcall displayed as the name of the application.
I'd like the brand name that appears in both the above 2 names to be Telsair if possible. (Ykep, our trademark will be displayed in 'about' and Telsair will be in 'inside' branding which will normally appear on the telephone screen, although on some phones it seems 'Rogers' may appear as well.),

Hello, yes, the Y09, BB09, and V500 all have unlock feature. Unlock feature can be added to the G3-09 and V600 with custom orders of 100pcs or more.
2) The BB09 is cheaper $12 than the Y09 $15, does that mean the Y09 works for more locked phones than BB09 or is the price difference just because you have more quantity of the BB09?

We are finding that the BB09 is most compatible with all iphones.
4) Which of your SIM dialers don't need cutting? I see the BB09, G3-09, V600 say they don't need cutting. What is the difference with these that make cutting not required, is it because the chip is on the opposite side of the dialer? The V500 picture has the chip on the opposite side of the dialer, so it can require cutting?
Our customers who are service providers are telling us that the advantage of having the chip face up is that the dialers fit better in tight sim slots, but that either they are finding that cutting the sim card has become necessary for a better connection (more flush) with the sim card.
5) What are your quantity and wholesale prices? What is the quantity required for custom changing the name, and how long does it take to do this?
We will take custom orders as low as 100pcs, however for outside branding the minimum is 1,000pcs. Please see wholesale pricing attached. Turn around time depends on quantity, but 5 to 7 working days is average.
6) Can all the dialers be preset to selected values before you ship them? For example, setting all the chips to use a selected phone number which can later be changed if necessary. And how long would that take?
Yes, we will preset the dialers with access number, pin, bypass settings, allow settings etc. The V400RS, the V500LG and the BB09 allows you to change the settings remotely. For this remote access feature the minimum custom order for the V400RS is 100pcs, remote access is done from any cell phone. The V500LG and BB09 remote access is done by special hardware and software. For the V500LG the minimum order is 3,000pcs and the hardware/software is free, for the BB09 the minimum order is 1,000pcs and the hardware/software is $300.

1) I just looked at the user manuals on your website and saw that the BB09 can store only 2 phone numbers is that right? The Y09 that I have can store 3 phone numbers. I prefer the menu on the Y09 because it can store 3 phone numbers, doesn't require password to turn the autodialer off, and doesn't have the About Power Universe manufacturer information.
My customers who are service providers actually prefer the BB09. They are concerned that the other sim dialers that have the password settings at another part of the STK Menu may be hackable. Yes, the BB09 is limited to 2 access numbers, this can't be changed. 2) But the compatibility may be more important. You said the BB09 was compatible with the most phones. Is it better compatibility with only Blackberries or can it be more compatible with other GSM phones as
well? How do the compatibility of the autodialers with unlock feature BB09, Y09, V400, and V500 compare to each other? (this is for use in Canada with only Callback and Callthrough).
The BB09 is the most compatible of all the dialers. The BB09 works with most GSM phones, not just the blackberrys.

No, the Y09 hasn't changed. For the BB09, the IC Chip can be changed with custom order of 100pcs or more.
4) Does the V400RS have the unlocking feature available? The price list shows the V400 has unlock feature but the V400RS does not.
The V400RS sample does not have unlock feature, but with an order of 100pcs we will add unlock feature. V400RS will set 3 access number.

However most VOIP, calling card, callback and callthrough systems already have their own settings in their system to time the required delay. For the V300 dialer, try setting the speed to slow 1, which will allow a 3second pause after the destination number

I think PennyTel are
selling a lot of phones now and offer software based dialing but if they could
sell a phone with a custom dialer with their configuration setup it would be a
big seller. We would be talking in many thousands. www.pennysim.com.au is where they are selling
the phones to the public. Their phone is the same as one I have using BB09.
The main issues is
the instructions are unclear and don’t talk in the same terms as PennyTel use.
There are a lot of features that are just not used, 80% at least could be removed.
The only scenario
that is use is as follows.
Enter access number 0289898800 in setup
Enter a list of
Bypass numbers
You dial the phone
number eg 0312345678
the Dialer then dials access number, waits about 1 second then sends the
dialled number then a #
Sample of the above
0289898800p0312345678#
If on the Bypass
number list then obviously the number is passed straight through not using the
access number so would be 0312345678 direct no dialer interference.
The only other
option that you would then consider if you did not have enough numbers in the
expanded Bypass list would be a Suffix or prefix like * to activate bypass eg
dial 0312345678* and the dialer sends the number 0312345678 out directly
dropping the * the V240 seems to have issues with that here in Australia with mobile numbers only.
Anyway if we get
something working for Windows
Mobile and work out what is causing the bad behaviour it might be
worth looking at something along those lines.

for Pennytel users. We think that if Pennytel users set up Catch prefix and Bypass list s properly, that all versions of
our dialers will the requirements. If
not, we we will design a new version and add a bypass list field for about
100digits.
For the BB09 we think you can do this:
Suppose you set in bypass field 0312345678*0312345679*0313*0314*0412*
Then all numbers in this format will
be bypassed:
0312345678xxxxx
0312345679xxxx
0313xxxxxxxxxx
0314xxxxxxxxxx
0412xxxxxxxxxx
Is 100digits enough?
If not enough then you can set any digits
in bypass field to acitvate bypass manually.
For Example:
set 77 in bypass list and set removal
prefix 77 at same time. Then users dial 77+ any number will be bypassed.
The V300 & V400 will bypass any
number manually by dialing *#xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. These 2 versions will work with
Windows Mobile

The Ykep’s new V700 sim dialer’s SMS callback feature works in
this way:
1. First the users’ callback systems should provide SMS callback
access number for users.
Then users can set in the following way:
1. Set Access 1 = #* SMS access number
2. Regular settings as the BB09 sim dialer
Now the SMS mode will work when users dial a number for example 0012059160021, the V700
will hang up this call and send an SMS to the SMS access number.
SMS format like: "Skype GW:0012059160021 "
So their system should read the destination number from second
part of the SMS content
After the system has received the SMS which includes destination
number, it will connect both the caller's number and destination number at same
time.

feature/function for numbers, because lots of logistics-customers for ex. like
to block expensive-premium-srvice-numbers so that they can blocked via a
"blocking-menu".

The software
for the V700 works as follows: When you set 00, then + is also active. For example, when you
set Allow 0049xxx then +49xxx also works. Same for the exclusive/Bypass list. So no need to
add any space.
2. Our standard version has a limit of 38 digits for the filter field. For us to add more
space, we would need to remove a field that is not needed in a custom
order. Do you know how many characters you would need?
3. Yes, when you set 00 as catch prefix and then there is no need to set
exclusive National number because now only 00xxxx and +xxxx will be routed to
calling cards because you only set 00 (and + will also be active) in catch
prefix . National numbers will now be active in the dialer. This is why we
always ask what numbers our customers want to go through calling card and what
numbers they don't,so we can give them
the easiest solution to set up the dial plan filter.
4. What do you mean by ‘blocking some expensive-premium-service-numbers’ ? To
bypass these expensive-premium-service-numbers back to local GSM networks
? Or ‘do not allow’ users to dial these expensive-premium-service-numbers
at all (neither VOIP nor local GSM networks)?
5. Brand names can be any name. You can use any name on screen like Calling
card, low rate, etc or only show your brand name.
6.When a custom order is placed, passwords
can be 4-8 digits.
7.V700 has a single language. We decided to remove the 2 Chinese languages in
the interest of space.

Question: I have read this and the manual (hard to follow seems like a bad English translation) and have no idea how to setup the phone. Whatever I do all calls go direct and not through the Access Number.
Here is what I want to do
When I enter a phone number and dial eg 12345678
I need the phone to dial 61289898800 Pause 1 second then dial 12345678 and # to commit the number. I want all numbers except in the Bypass to use the Access number.
I cannot work out how to do this.
I then have some numbers I want to add that will be excluded but I understand that list is limited. Even so where would I add them?
From the forum for PennySIM / PennyTel it appears you can add a Bypass prefix like # so all numbers that I want to bypass are dialled direct and not via the access number if I dial # before the number I am calling that I want excluded.
Are you able to help me work this out?

Answer: To make the sim dialer work, usually you need to set access number, delay(pause) time after access number,dial plan,and bypass(exclusive) list and ending codes. The instruction below is how to set up these basic items:
1.login to mobile dialer menu by entering password 8888 Do not set any digits in PIN 1 and PIN 2 before login, because your system is pinless.
2.How to set your access number of 61289898800: After login,you just go to sub-menu of SET ACCESS,select ACCESS 1 and enter ##61289898800 (includes ## in front)
3.How to SET Pause AFTER ACCESS, After login, get to SET ACCESS, then select Access Delay Item, enter 01 (for 3 seconds pause after access number) ,or enter 02 (for 6 seconds pause after access number)
4.Set dial plan, After login,go to SET DIAL PLAN,then select CATCH PRX FOR ACC 1 Enter 0*00*1*2*3*4*5*6*7*8*9*
5.set Bypass/exclusive list After login, go to 4th sub-menu, BYPASS PREFIX ENTER 999*911*1800*411*1700 (If you need to exclude these numbers 999,911,1800,1700,411 )
6.Set ending code / suffix code after login,go to the 6th sub-menu,OTHER SETTINGS,select ENDING CODE,and choose # as ending code.
After these setting, sim dialers will work properly.
Regarding MODE: we designed different working modes to fit with different solutions of GSM phones. Usually users can use mode 2 for most GSM phones. If mode 2 doesn't work,then try another mode.
How to place calls: after settings above,users can exit mobile dialer setting menu and dial any numbers they want. Mobile dialer will auto work or not work according to dial plan settings. if you dial a number starting with prefix codes which match the list in CATCH PRX FOR ACC 1,then sim dialer will work.
Suppose users dial 12345678,then sim dialer will work in this sequence: Dial 61289898800,pause,then dial 12345678 #
How to make a exclusive call,temporarily : 1.To set a special prefix in bypassed list,example,you can add 88 in bypass list. 2.To set 88 in REMOVAL PREFIX,
IN this way,you dial 88 12345678 Then dialer will bypass your call back to local GSM networks. and at same time it will remove the 88 front prefix from dialed number. So it will send out 12345678 only.
This is an example,you can set other prefix code to bypass calls.

Question: I might need some help to go further with the BB09 - I've tried everything and every combination I can think of, but it doesn't answer the callback.
It goes right through the sequence:-
1. accepts number to be dialled 2. rings the callback number 3. gets "busy" tone, hangs up (this depends on whether I use Pennytel's or Maxotel's callback as to whether it hangs up or hands on the "busy" until the callback arrives) 4. BUT, when the callback calls back it does not answer the callback - I think it did ONCE, out of dozens of tries, but I can't replicate the condition that worked - might have been a fluke. 5. I've tried pressing accept when the callback arrives but that totally confuses the BB09.
I find the BB09 user manual a bit hard to follow as it's cryptic and does not differentiate very well or consistently between what the user does for themselves and what the BB09 automatically does for the user. So I'm uncertain on the procedure, given that I can't get it to work.
I've tried all modes - 1, 2, 3 & 4 I've tried with and without the "#" ending code. I've tried with "access delay" 01 and 00 - although I've haven't a clue as to how this might or mightn't apply to callback mode. I've check that access number 1 & 2 both have ** preceding their respective callback numbers. I've tried other things which I've forgotten about.
I have heard reports that yoursimdialer works okay on a Samsung A412. This is exactly the same phone as the A411 - the only difference being that the A411 is the Telstra locked pre-paid version and the A412 is post-paid (in either locked or unlocked form).
I don't like technology getting the better of me - but I'm out of ideas.
Any suggestions/comments on the above ?
Answer: Hello Graeme, sim dialers don't automatically answer when the callback is ringing, users need to press accept to answer the call
Then the sim dialer will send out the dialed number and add # as ending code.
When used for callthrough, the sim dialer will automatically finish all steps, i.e. dial access number, pause, dial PIN, dial destination number and add # as ending code. (all done by sim dialer) this is very useful for calling cards or callthrough services.
However, when used for callback, users need to hang up after sim dialer dials to callback access number and answer the callback manually when system callback. (Sim dialer can dial access number automatically,dial out the dialed number and add # automatically) This is called semi-automatic
The sim technology is not yet able to auto hang up and auto pick up to answer the callback.

I have a technical question:
We use the SIM Dialer for call-through calls. That means a fixed number
is dialed, one has to wait for the dial tone and then the actual number
is dialed. This is working fine - even the special handling to add a 0
in front of the actual number is working fine.
In addition we have several numbers for which we don't want to use the
call through mechanism. This is more or less also working, but the
exceptions are a bit too limited for us (this is currently not a big
issue).
So here is my question ;-) :
Is it possible, if someone dials the number #492 for example, it
actually dials +49711797353492 (the # should be replaced by +49797353)?
The main problem is, this should be possible in addition to the
callthrough as mentioned before.
Answer: Yes, this software change is possible for a custom order.

Answer: With the BB09 SIM dialer, by default the + symbol is ignored and treated as a blank, therefore any number starting with + will match a blank dial plan (you can make a field blank by entering six hashes (#) and saving).
So if you want to send numbers starting with +44 to the dialer, you just put 44 in the particular Dial Plan; and if you want to bypass numbers starting with +61, you put 61 in the Bypass Prefix field.

I use my iPhone quite a lot for overseas calls using a calling card. I use a couple of different cards and have found one or two that I really like due to balance of cost and voice quality / reliability.
Anyways, it's quite a hassle dialling all the numbers on the calling card – I've noticed on the app store there's a number of apps that you can d/l to take care of entering your calling card pin and dial contacts directly from your phone book with a single touch...
However, all of the app store apps specifically mention that due to Apple limitations, they cannot dial "#" (which is usually used after the PIN is entered).

Question: Does anyone know if it's possible with the A412 to automatically add a prefix and a suffix to the number being called.
Answer: Have a look at the following site. I have one of these and have
trialled it in an A412 with a Pennysim (Optus network) and a '3'
network sim and it works perfectly. Works for Pennysim ANIcallback and
pilot number. It is transparent to the user after it is programmed
(very simple)
Note, the card accepts two accounts but you must set up a dialling
plan for each account, again very simple. The instructions are
available for download from the web site link below. If you don't set
up a dialplan the call will go through without the prefix and suffix.
(EDIT- without the prefix and suffix being added by the dialler)
The best US$12 I have spent in a while, arrived in around 8-9 days.

I visited your site and discovered some new SIM-Dialers: good work! Most
interesting for me was the V500 with 2 acess numbers and programmable LCR
(least cost router).But the only disadvantage of this model was in my case the
chosen mode: this firsst one mode for the 2 access numbers. But in my
case I need for the 1 number callthrough with #, for the second number
continuous call. Is this possible? And is it possible to have e.g. 3 access
numbers with 3 different modes? Great products, I equipped my wife, my sister
and my mother with your SIM Dialers, and everybody is happy!
Answer: Yes, the BB09 Can
set 2 access numbers, and set LCR least cost routing rules for the 2 access
numbers; 2 access numbers
can work in different modes, example, access 1 will work with callthrough and
access 2 work with callback or access 2 work at Continuous mode. Sorry, at this
time, we don’t have a dialer that will work 3 modes at the same time.

Users can set up a VOIP access number in the sim dialer. Sim dialer can be set for up to 3
access numbers for 3 countries most frequently visited. When users travel to another country, simply enter the STK menu to select a new access number and press ok. Then the
access number is changed.
When users travel to a different country, all the user needs to do is replace the VOIP access number in that country. Very easy, Just enter STK
menu,and change the access number in NUMBER menu,then press ok.

Ykep has designed the V300s, which will

I´ve an import question for the "V500" (LG or GSM), "V600"
or "G3-09" concerning the nu,mber format. Lot
of customers use for calls the format "+49" (f.e. for a ´fixed number
in munich/germany +498944456656). If the SIm-dialer is switched on all the
calls with the format "+49xx" will be automatically routet.
If I put "+49" as "bypass-prefix" (for not routing numbers with
"+49xx") it changes to "#49" instead of "+49". Do
you have a solution for that:
1) not routing +49-numbers or
2) automatically changing numbers in the phone book from "+49xxx"
into "0049xxx" ?

now only our V400/600 has a function to convert + to 00 . You can go to Add
code menu and activate or inactivate this function

0049xxxx
If
you set +49 in allow menu in dial set, then all numbers starting with +49 will
be routed to your calling card’s system.
If you put+49 as bypass prefix, all numbers will not be routed to your calling
cards system. It will go directly by local networks. The V400/600 dialers
cannot change +49 to #49 in this case. Because sim dialers do not work at all
then dial a bypass prefix.The G3-09 works on a different menu. V500LG as a
feature to remove prefix,but not replace prefix features.example,V500LG can set
to remove + or remove 00 or any other prefix from international numbers. If you

For the V500GSM sim
dialer, you can set up to 3 access numbers . All settings are done in the Advance
menu which needs a security PIN. Users cannot enter Advance menu, and therefore
cannot edit anything. What they can do is switch between service 1,service 2 or
service 3 in main menu.
I think the solution for
you is the following: you can configure mode+access number in Advance menu.
1. Go to
Advance->number-> New(first location)-> enter mode and access number
in a string: #2#AccessNo1
2.Go to
Advance->number-> New(second location)-> enter mode and access number
in a string: #8#AccessNo2
Explanation: In this
setting,you can set access number 1 and 2 with different access numbers or you
can also set same access numbers in 2 locations. #2# stands for ICC1#
(callthrough mode), and #8# stands for CB1( callback mode) . These working
modes are combined to access number 1 and access number 2. When users switch
from access number 1 to access number 2,the working modes are changed
automatically.
3.When users are in Germany,they
just use service 1 (callthrough) in default. When they go abroad, they can
enter main menu,go to Number,select Service 2, so that to switch to access
number2. (By this selection,the Working mode also changes to callback mode)
About Dual sim adaptor. You
can use at the same time with sim dialers ,but 99.999% of phones only provide
one STK menu interface. So your mobile phone will only display STK menu per sim
dialer. We cannot show your dual sim adaptor at same time. I think the dual sim
adaptor is too thick. Maybe you can use 6in1 GSM sims. To copy more SIM cards
information into one 6in1 sim. This 6in1 sim is same size to norlmal GSM sim.

Answer: Hello Max, I just read your dialing rules for the Optus Prepaid Divert System. '0289898800' is your access number and '1234567890' is the number that you will dial from your contact list or call history.
With the BB09 (with unlock feature), Y09 (with unlock feature),V400, V300, V600 (with unlock feature for the iphone), there is an option/mode in the STK menu called ICC1#. The ICC1# is designed to dial this way: Dial access number,pause,dial destiantion number#.
The pause after the pilot number is automatic in all modes. All you would set in the ICC1 mode in the STK menu is the pilot number and the dialer will do the rest.
Remember, if your phone is locked you will need either the BB09, Y09 or V600 (iphone only).

The Sim Dialer works great! Just as well as I had hoped.
Apple and Google have responded to the FCC's information request about the official Google Voice application. Apparently it hooks directly into the iPhone's phone.app (which is the cause for Apple's concern,) providing the seamless dialing and voicemail experience I am trying to achieve. When (if) that app becomes available, it ought to be the ideal solution.

Yes,V400 has 4 callback modes, which automatically adds # after destination number. Since most of callback system
require # as ending code.
Please order the BB09, which has Callback mode with # and without # , will set
modes as ICB1 or ICB2 (without #)
For the V400, you can try a Callthrough modes ICC2 and
set Speed as speed 2. Sometimes this will work with callback system, because
with speed 2 it will wait more than 6 seconds after access number is dial. And
most important thing is that ICC2 is without # after destination
number.

Question: I tested the following example: Server number is 11 digits, Pin is 4 Digits + 2 Pause characters + 1 Digit=7 digits. Destination is 11 Digits.
We need to dial server number, wait for connection, send pin, wait 3 seconds, send 0, wait 3 seconds, send destination number.
Answer:
1. Go into set access number/Acc1 No and enter you 11 digit server number
2. Then to set pin go back to the 1st menu and select PIN 1. There you will enter **0(the 0 is based on your dialing rules, the 1st * represents 3 seconds and the 2nd * just separates the 1st * from the 0.
3. Then for the delay that you need after the PIN before dialing the destination number, go back to set access/access delay, enter 01, which represents about 3 seconds. (02 is 6 seconds if you need more time)

Here is an email with
some advice I sent someone who had the V300 dialer. I'd recommend the
V400 just because you'll be able to get 3G data speeds if your phone supports
it. The Y09 works good too.
I'm not sure
what latency would be like on the Link2VoIP network if you're calling
from Ontario. Yak might be better in that case. And while Link2VoIP
offers a callback service, Yak offers both dial through and callback services
(dial through would be preferred if you have My5): http://www.yak.ca/product/yak-cell/how-it-works
Anyway, there are a
ton of callback or calling card services out there targeted to cell phone
users, most of which are garbage (high latency, echo, etc.). These are
the ones I've been happy with (and there are additional benefits to Yak and
Link2VoIP: you can use your Link2VoIP account with a VoIP ATA like my
Linksys SPA-3102 to give yourself home phone service, or you can switch your
existing landline long distance over to Yak).

The V500 can be configured by SMS remotely with a special SMS modem+Software. This feature is very useful for big providers. For instance, if a provider has 5000 users in different cities who are using sim dialer and their access number needs to be changed,provider can send SMS from SMS modem+Software to changes all the sim dialers. No need to go to users and change one by one.

The IP Dialer is not only for the Iphone, but for all phones in the 3G Network.
1. ICC2 mode: We can preactivate the dialer in ICC2 mode. Other modes will be there but not active.
2. PAUSE function: This function works differently in differnt model phones. You may enter * or not enter * after the access number, followed by the eternal or internal number and you should only have the 3 second delay.
3. Custom Name: 10 characters or less
4. Access Code: The dialer is preset for 40 characters. If more is needed this can be adjusted.
5. Password: Preset for maximum 10 characters at the moment.
6. Exception code: Exception code can be preset under 'limited' in STK menu. This is limited to 40 characters, but can be adjusted. This will allow emergency numbers to be called directly.

Lettering of the IP-Dialer on the standby-screen is "IP CALL". Dialer itself is thinner than the V200, chip is smaller but in my opinition more vulnerable to mechanical influences (e.g. putting the dialer in or out).
Regarding menue: - I did not discover a PIN-input option - the 3 callthrough numbers are not shown but named Service 1, Servise 2 and Service 3. For the whole-sale company this solution is a good choice (cause the customer must not know the gateway numbers); for the retail-customer this could be more difficult in comparision with the V200 to distinguish the numbers (in V200 you can see the numbers directly) - the most negative point of the dialer: limit/not limit the use of the dialer is limited to 30 characters. V200 has much more space to input which numbers have to be dialed with the dialer and which numbers have to be excluded. - most positive point: in on of my last mails I mentioned that my Samsung D780 works with the V200 only with dial modes ICC1 (ICC1#). ICC1 or ICC1# are the most primitive ways to dial after initial call. But with your sample my Samsung now works perfectly with ICC2 or ICC3 (ICC2# and ICC3#), and now I can dial much more faster than before. Very good!

The different mode is for different model of mobile,For example,If the mode 1 won't work for some model,you can try mode 2 or 3,It may can work for this model.
-Pause in the service number. A * is a 3 seconds pause. This is extremely long. For a future version please have this shorter. I f it was 1 second, it would work also, if that’s to fast then he can use more then one *. Just like the commas in a modem dial string.
For the pause,The time can be setting inside"speed". "0-9"can be setting in there,"0" is no pause."1" is for 1×3 seconds pause."2" is for 2×3seconds pause.

But I cannot call an internal number. At least, not without first change to another ‘Service number’ which is the same but without the *0.
Whit the current version, I can at least use it in some niche applications. Can you make for me the option to have the name customized and the password changeable or at least set it as we like it?
Yes,We can customize for you.Show your name on the standby-screen.Change the password and set predefined your access code.
If user can config interval time or days when dialersim is in OFF mode because user have unlimeted call option whith provider like evening and night or weekend.
This is my recommandation.

I tried the 6.20 dialer but I don't know what the PIN is so I can't program my callback number into it. But on a side note, my Nokia N85 doesn't like it very much at all. When I first put it in and turn my phone on, my phone registers with the network (Rogers) but I don't seem to have data access. When I try to access the internet, I can't get on. Then my phone says 'SIM not registered' and I lose my connection to the network. But it seems to work fine in my Samsung U100. I suspect that it will work on 2.5G phones (like my U100) but not on 3.5G phones (like my N85). One other problem I have with it is I'm having a hard time sliding it out of the U100 because the chip on it is catching on the phone internals. I don't know if the chip is thicker than on the other dialers or it's just that (most of) the other dialers slide out easier because they have a dollop of plastic goo on them so they don't have square edges to catch.
The V400 is the only dialer that will work in my Nokia N85 for voice AND give me HSDPA data (I can't remember but I think the V200 didn't work at all with my N85 and the V300 would only give me Edge or GPRS data). The only problem with the V400 I found is that the chip is on the wrong side of the film. Not a big deal but it would fit so much nicer into the notch I cut in my SIM card if they would have just put it on the other side.
Anyway, all the dialers work fine on both Fido and Rogers up here. It's just a matter of trying to find specific phones they'll work on and so far I've had good success with the V400.
BTW, I think I saw something like a KA08 today. Someone I know bought an 'IPhone' in Beijing with dual SIM card holders and removable battery. Hmmm.... It even had the Apple IPhone badging. I'd consider one if it weren't for the QVGA screen and lack of HSDPA...

I have two questions:
- Can I use the V300 product in connection with a DualSim-Adapter (I would like to use this one: http://www.magicsim.com/dual-sim/23th-a.htm)?
- I would like to exclude all mobile phone numbers in Germany from dialing via the Calltrough feature. Mobile phone prefixes always start with 01... respectively +491... (international format), all other calls I want to make with the V300 Calltrough feature. Is this possible?
Answer: The Dual SIm Adapter will have the have the 'both lines online at the same time' feature. I don't think this one does. The V300 does have an exlusion (exception) feature, but it depends on your dialing rules. Please send me your dialing rules in detail.

It's very surprising that in the bad economy in the USA, that there isn't a demand for the Voip sim card dialer or that Voip services has not increased. Canada and Europe seem to 'get it' but end users in the USA still spend an unbeleivable amount of money on long distance services. Maybe in 10 years USA will catch on.

Question: basically im using ICC2#, and i want the following excluded numbers to be excluded from the dialer : 611, *611, 911, and 4 other actual telephone numbers. ie 1-416-555-555
Answer: ICC2# is in the STK menu, and in the STK menu you will select Dial Set, then 'not use dialer' and set 611#911#1416555555#1416 666666# 180033333#.
I am not sure that it will accept *611, so please try the first time without *611. When you're ready to test *611, try *611#

One of the benefits of the sim dialer is to set the prefixes that you would like the dialer to dial and to set the prefixes that the the dialer should NOT dial. See STK Menu below.

Question: What Sim Dialer do you recommend for Canada.
Answer: We have had some customers in Canada who have has success with the V200 and V250, however we recommend the V300, since this has worked with all Providers there. The V200 has basic prompts, the V300 does require a few more prompts, but users are very happy with its reatures.
